2012 is the year of the SUV in the Mercedes calendar and this go-anywhere story has already started, as the new ML is now on the market (you can read our review of the car here). This will be followed by a facelifted version of the G-Class and, more importantly, by a revamped incarnation of the GLK.
We are here now to focus on the latter, which our spy photographers have encountered once again. This time, the GLK wears very little camouflage and, as you can see in the adjacent images, Mercedes will itnroduce new front and rear bumpers, as well as redesigned headlights. The vehicle will also receive new taillights, but the spied prototype was not wearing them.
The cabin will also receive a series of upgrades, with the most important one being the migration of the gear shift level from the center console to the steering wheel. We’ll also receive a new steering wheel and other minor changes.
The tech side will also receive upgrades, but we’ll be able to give you the full details in March, as the 2013 GLK will make its debut at the Geneva Motor Show.
