Mercedes is working hard to bring a refreshed version of the GL to the market next year and we’ve met a prototype of the SUV during its testing phase once again.
The GL has shed some camo, so it’s easier for us to see that the designers have turned the car into a more domestic one, brining more friendly shapes. The aire intakes have also been redesigned. Up front, we have a two-bar grille with a large three-pointed star, as well as LED strips in the bumper. Moving to the rear, we find new tailights, as well as a new design for the tail gate (the spoiler at the top is now more bold).
The GL-Class borrows the M-Class’ tech side, which means that under the bonnet, alongside the oil burners, we’ll get the carmaker’s MOVE family of direct injected V6 and twin-turbo V8 mills.
