Out spy photographers have managed to capture some quick shots of the next big thing in the land of Aston Martin, the replacement for the DBS which is actually called the Vanquish. The car that will defeat all other was actually testing in Italy, or preparing for a photo shoot. Spotted in town, it was sporting nothing in the way of camouflage.
The styling is identical to that of the AM310 concept, shown at last month at the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este, but the wheels have been changed. As you’d expect, design is evolutionary rather than revolutionary.

The car will make use of lightweight materials, like carbon fiber for the body and aluminum for the shell. Power will come from the biggest engine they have on offer, the 6-liter in the DBS, which will be tuned to produce about 550 horsepower. This will be sent to the rear via an eight-speed transmission made by ZF.

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
