Hold the presses ladies and gentlemen, this is not the Audi e-Tron that’s bee put into production and is being thrashed around the Nurburgring, but a completely different car from a manufacturer you’ve likely never heard of before. It’s called the Roading Roadster it’s not really a roadster, but the roof can probably be removed.
At about the same time last year, the car was spotted testing in prototype form around the Nordschlife, where the company was pitting it against the mighty Porsche 911 GT2. Even if we don’t know what kind of times the car is pulling right now, we can say that we much better prefer these looks over last year’s car, even though it looks like some sort of Audi that was designed using only a ruler.
The Roading Roadster is expected to pack a six-cylinder engine delivering upwards of 300 hp and 400 Nm of torque. It’s also supposed to be light, weighing under a ton.
The Roadster will make its official debut by the end of the year, with Roading Automobile to start deliveries early next year.
