Spyshots: 2011 Mercedes M-Klasse, Same Camo

And we do mean same camo...Try as they might, it would appear our spy photography partners just can't get their heads around how or when to get a better glimpse at the upcoming M-Klasse. For the third time in the past months, we are forced to bring you some pics with the new SUV, wearing the same unrevealing camo.

Unfortunately, new developments are absent as well: nothing new about the engines, nothing new about about the body... Remember, the car is not expected to arrive until early 2011 (late 2010, at best), so we will have to wait some more until the mystery surrounding the M is revealed.

Until then, we can only tell you the new ML will be a bit different in terms of size than the current one, as it might be a few inches shorter. According to
most sources, the bodywork will be signinficantly different than the current generation, with design cues taken from the E-Klasse and the GLK. The only visible differences so far are the door handles, which are differently positioned and the addition of different LED day-time running lights.

For engines, Mercedes will turn to both in-use units and new ones. The petrol engines will likely include units with displacements ranging from 3.5l to 6.2l, with power outputs ranging from 272 to 510 hp. For the diesel version, engines are expected to be in the 3.0l – 4.0l range, with power outputs of 190 to 306+ hp.

Mercedes is also said to add a newer version of the hybrid system, which will probably be more fuel efficient than the current ML 450 Hybrid.
