Ever since Jaguar was taken over by Tata Motors in 2008, the British carmaker has been constantly evolving, offering us new models that come with top assets.
Now, one of the company’s most important models, the XF saloon, is on its way to receiving a makeover. The facelift is expected to bring multiple changes, but won’t be a radical transformation.
As the revamped XF isn’t expected to be offered earlier than next year, we decided to ask our well-trained team of photo mercenaries to immortalize the “work-in-progress” XF facelift.
They started searching the world for it and it wasn’t long until the cat was tracked. However, Jaguar was well aware of the threat and decided to throw a ton of camo on the vehicle.
Therefore, we had to take the pictures to the Grandfather of All Automotive Knowledge (GAAK), who has a special room, deep in our office. We were told that the XF will get new front and rear fascias that will use a design similar to that featured on the company’s flagship saloon, the XJ. One of the elements that will make the most use of the XJ’s design will be the headlights.
The interior is also expected to come with certain refreshed features, while the engine range will at least get a few tweaks, if not some new powerplants.
Before we left his meditation room, GAAK sighed and told us that Jaguar is also working on a Wagon version of the XF, which will be released at the same time with the revamped saloon.
