Spyker’s convertible version of the B6 Venator sportscar will make its public debut at this year’s Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.
Although it was believed the B6 Venator Spyder would be unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show, the company decided to showcase its latest creation in California, Autoblog revealed, quoting a source close to the automaker.
The B6 Venator Spyder was confirmed back in April, right after the coupe version was showcased at the Geneva Motor Show. Just like the coupe, the convertible will feature a carbon fiber body, an aluminum chassis, and a mid-mounted V6 engine rated at 375+ HP.
The B6 Venator coupe will go on sale in early 2014 in “key markets” including Europe, the Middle East, Asia Pacific and India, while US customers will have to wait until next autumn to get the luxurious Dutch sportscar. A launch date for the convertible version has yet to be announced.
