Earlier today we brought you a new set of spyshots featuring the Jeep’s upcoming, yet unnamed, baby SUV. Although it’s not the first time our photographers spotted the crossover testing in cold Swedish weather, they did provide us with a photo that shows the car’s interior.
We admit it’s not too revealing, but at least now we know where the infotainment system will be placed and that the dashboard will feature a familiar layout of buttons and dials and some chrome accents. Anyway, the reason why this heavily camouflaged Jeep came back into our news section is because our paparazzos were also able to film the vehicle.

Yes, folks, the footage uploaded below marks the Jeep Junior’s video debut and reveals how the baby SUV copes with the snowy, icy and muddy roads of cold Sweden. And from what we’ve seen, the upcoming Fiat 500L-based crossover won’t give up on its Jeep-like capability and road holding abilities. Did we mention that the manufacturer is actually testing a pack of these new Jeeps and that it also brought a Fiat 500L to the Arctic Circle?

Unfortunately, they’re not willing to drop some camouflage yet, which means we can only guess what might be hiding underneath that black cover. First of all, it’s quite obvious that the B-SUV will resemble the boxy Patriot. We don’t know about you, but we’re glad we won’t be getting yet another lemon-sucking Jeep (read 2014 Cherokee). Speaking of headlamps, it’s pretty much impossible to say whether the Junior will feature squared or rounded one.

This rendering that we reported about earlier this month shows the vehicle with the latter, while the prototypes are camouflaged so the headlamps look square. We already now that the taillights are square, so the latter version would make more sense.

Official details about the entry-level vehicle have yet to become available, but here’s what various reports have claimed in the past.

The vehicle will be built alongside the 500X - its Fiat-badged twin - in Italy, with production to be expanded to Poland and Mexico over the next years. The smallest Jeep yet could be called Laredo, although the Junior and Jeepster names have been rumored the past few months as well. Word has it the crossover will make its public debut at the Geneva Motor Show next month, but we wouldn’t be surprised if Jeep would only bring a near-production concept car in Switzerland.

Finally, the baby SUV will be launched with a range of Fiat-sourced engines, beginning with the tiny 0.9-liter TwinAir turbo that delivers 105 hp. The more powerful version is likely to be motivated by the 1.4-liter MultiAir with 160 hp, while diesel power will be provided by familiar 1.6-liter MultiJet, which is rated at 105 hp.
