It seems like China is in for a couple of new BMW models next year, as spy photographers caught up with 2 of the Bavarian company's upcoming cars testing on the roads of the communist country.
The two culprits are the 1 Series GT and the 2 Series Coupe. Whilst the latter was all but unveiled at an undercover photo shoot that was crashed by curious photographers, the GT model is yet to be seen in any guise.
That's because, even though the 1 Series GT is based on the Active Tourer Concept cars, we have yet to get a firm idea as to how it will look like. If we're to believe the patent images, that were leaked a couple of days ago, then the new 1er will look a lot like the Concept cars.
From today's photos, the car wearing the camouflage seems to be the short wheelbase one, as we know (from other spyshots) that BMW is probably planning to release a LWB model that can seat 7 people.
The front-wheel-drive BMWs will be launched next year revolutionizing the BMW line-up yet again.
