Some people own homes while some people own cars. Some folks like to own both, while some just like a home on wheels. Which category do you fit in? Here's something to help you make up your mind.
I, for one, see no point in owning a home if you’ve got one of these massive and luxurious motorhomes from Bürstner. This one is called the Elegance, and if you haven’t taken a look at the gallery yet, get on with it. At first glance, I thought I was looking at the interior of a superyacht, and I'm not kidding you.

Just to start things off right, the Elegance starts at just under $160k ($159,950 at the time of writing), which is the price of a new home in some neighborhoods. But for this sort of cash, this thing would better offer all the comforts of a new home. Well, it does, otherwise why would we bring it to your attention?

Now, there are quite a few variations and packages that you can choose from, including a different engine, so for the sake of time and attention, we’re going to keep it as basic as possible. The rest will be in your hands.

The base model is known as the 910 G and includes a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 414 CDI donor vehicle with 105 kW / 141 hp. Overall, it seems to topple the scales with a gross weight of 12,125 lbs (5,500 kg), but it comes with a payload limit of 2,711 lbs (1,230 kg) and a tow limit of 3,527 lbs (1,600 kg). Honestly, do you feel like you need more than this? Not really, especially if you’ve got a Woolly Bear as a towable trailer.

On the outside, the Elegance is rather basic. Except for a few storage spaces, garage access, a shower, and roof light, there isn’t much breaking the lines. It’s on the inside that Bürstner really show you what they can do.

One of the first things to strike you upon entry is the wonderful minimalist furnishings that somehow still offer the feeling of home. Or maybe a ritzy hotel room - one of those tiny ones from Japan, though. After all, motorhomes are considered tiny homes.

You can tell the designers have a ton of experience in tinkering with wood trims, metals, leathers, and various upholstery solutions. The way everything feels balanced is phenomenal, and it’s not all just visual effect. Being a motor home, every little handle, every little knob, panel, the seats and even the tables end up doing much more than what we’re used to in our homes.

Now, there are a ton of spaces and cabinets, all of them modular. So many in fact that the Elegance's specifications and options stretch out over around ten pages in a PDF file. So to really get a good idea of what you can do on this wonder ride, click here. But do return to the text as we will briefly touch upon some of the essentials.

Number one, food! Personally, the kitchen puts my own to shame. Not only does it include everything you would normally have at home, but it does so with one tasteful style. There's a stovetop with burners and induction, a 177-liter fridge and 35-liter freezer, and even a combination oven. The dining area is something else altogether too. Rather than looking like the classic cramped-feeling areas we may be used to, here we are welcomed into a restaurant.

If that’s not enough, check out the full bathroom with an Indus toilet system. There's also a full-size shower complete with a sink and wardrobe. But it’s the bedroom that really holds all the comfort of this vehicle. Contrary to what I would normally do in this situation, I'm not going to talk about it one bit. What I am going to do is urge you once again to check out the gallery. My words wouldn’t be able to do it justice. All I can say is there are two sleeping areas in the Elegance: one at the rear, and one at the front.
