If you’re a true BMW fan, then you know how important the Nurburgring is for the brand. The Germans are testing all of their cars on the world famous track, both M and non-M cars just the same.
As a matter of fact, in a recent interview, current M boss, Frank van Meel even gave us a number to hold dear: 1,000 km (620 miles). That’s the minimum distance that a test car must cover on the Green Hell in pedal to the metal conditions to be approved by the engineers.

We don’t know for sure if the regular cars have to be so carefully tested as well, but we don’t really care at the moment as we’re being treated with a lot of M goodness.

Supercar spotter Cvdzijden was on the famous track just hours before this year’s 24-hour endurance race took place, and he managed to film no less than 43 M cars entering the track. They were all part of the BMW M Festival that was held on the grounds of the famous circuit just before the proceedings started.

As you’re about to see, the set was decked with almost every recent M car you can think of. You can hear the S63 4.4-liter V8 in action on the M5, M6, X5 M and X6 M models but also the S55 3-liter inline 6-cylinder unit on the M3, M4 and M4 Convertible, the legendary S85 5-liter V10 on the E60 M5, the S65 4-liter V8 on the E92 M3 and the N54 on the 1M Coupe. All you have to do now is tell us which one is your favorite.
