The Blue Oval company’s recent announcement that its highly anticipated 2021 Bronco 2- and 4-Door models might get first deliveries postponed to next summer certainly didn’t bode well with the fan base and the numerous order holders. Now, we’re not entirely sure Ford will be happy to get on the Internet community’s radar with something else that might point out towards a botched design job.
Here's the setting: someone (probably a company official, as it was the case on other occasions) enjoyed the perk of having both a black, spotless Ford Mustang as well as a 4-Door 2021 Bronco on the same driveway, at the same time. That’s a dream-like scenario for many Blue Oval fans.
And we’re not too far away from subscribing to that as well. Of course, the two models – with their neatly arranged contrasting hues – didn't spend too much time unnoticed before somebody else caught wind of their pairing and snatched a couple of shots for a chance at Internet immortality.
The arrangement is very subtle – and the owner of the assembly shows great taste when it comes to selecting the paint jobs. Not just for the cars, but for the stylish house, as well. There’s just one thing that bothers us - and the rest of the forum users.
That would be the ugly-duckling of a front license plate holder exhibited by the Bronco off-roader. It certainly looks like a botched attempt at adding something that doesn’t belong there in the first place. And that brings a serious question – did Ford somehow forgot that certain states require such a fixture?
Judging by the sometimes funny, sometimes plain scared comments, the Internet community doesn’t agree with the placement either. And this being an afterthought doesn’t really hold grounds, not when considering the level of careful and detailed planning Ford has shown so far with the Bronco.
Hopefully, this is just a prototype testing a different setup from the one that will eventually go into production. Otherwise, there will be genuine concerns, such as “how do you fit the plate and the winch together?” popping all over the place going forward.
