Sportier BMW Z4 Coming in 2015

BMW makes some great cars, but there are some exceptions to this rule. Among the cars that never really managed to make an impact in the market is the BMW Z4. The performance is good on paper, but the luxury ambiance and efficient engines can never push it into Porsche Boxster territory when it comes to balance and handling.

They never really screwed up like with the Z3, but a major rethink is coming our way via the next generation Z4, scheduled for 2015.

According to Inside Line, the new two-seater roadster will also see some design changes, the biggest one being a shorter hood. In fact, the whole car will be shorter and they could be working on a more mid-engined, neutral balance.

But the shift from the current generation to the next will be an evolutionary one, with no major differences, so as to no alienate current fans.
