Spofec-enhanced Rolls Royce Ghost Series II Is Both More Elegant and More Powerful

If you ask us, cars like Rolls Royce or Bentley shouldn't be left anywhere near a tuning shop but every once in a while, there's a tuner that understands these cars and comes up with subtle customization options.

By subtle we mean zero chrome, the absence of spinners and a complete lack of fluorescent colors covering the elegant bodies of these cars.

But then we stumbled across this video, showing a Spofec Rolls Royce Ghost Series II being taken around the city after a discrete make-up treatment, so we thought you'd like to see it too.

We also did some research and found out this is a new add-on for the program developed for spoiled rich kids and also adults, courtesy of Novitec. The tuner started showing off the program last year when we met a Ghost model, for which both visual and performance mods have been created.

But let's focus on the Series II model present in the video below. In terms of performance, Novitec took care of the V12 first. The powerplant now develops 685 horsepower and 958 Nm (706.5 lb-ft) of torque on the regular Ghost and 709 horsepower and 974 Nm (718.3 lb-ft) of torque on the Ghost V-Spec.

The exhaust system can be had with the flap-regulation feature, that can be controlled from the cockpit. Four sets of 22-inch rims are available as part of the tuning program, painted in either silver, matte black, titanium or black with polished surfaces.

Also, tuners can fit the Ghost with CAN-Tronic suspension control module that controls the air suspension and lowers the ride height by about 40 millimeters at speeds below 140km/h (87 mph). At higher speeds the body automatically reverts to its original level.

Stopping power is left as a task for two pairs of ventilated carbon-ceramic brake discs, while the car's overall look is taken up a notch by aero parts like the new front bumper, rear bumper and rear spoiler lip. No word on price yet, but we expect a five-digit sticker.
