Here we go, with two lessons learned the painful way at once on a winding Taiwanese road, and a good, though a bit rough way to stress out how dangerous speeding can sometimes be.
All riders know how inviting such winding roads can be, and how subtly the hand lays heavier on the throttle.
However, with so many scooters and bicycles on the road, race-riding this mountain road is most likely the least safe thing a rider can do. And not because he or she could make a mistake, but because the speeding rider will not stand a chance when somebody else makes a mistake.
Unfortunately, this is exactly what happened, with a scooter rider running wide into a righthander and colliding with the rider... You be the judge whether it was worth it!
