The German automaker Porsche will make a “Red 7” special limited edition Boxster S for Netherlands buyers, having special features but also a substantial price.
Porsches’s Red 7 Boxster S will be... well, red and built only in 7 units of course. The body color will be contrasting with matte gray 20-inch rims, engine hood, bonnet and mirror casings.
Inside, the two color theme will be present, with black leather almost everywhere and red accents on the dashboard and center console. Other interior features are the Bose audio system, Porsche’s Communication Management System and the Sport Chrono Package.
Power is provided by the same unaltered 3.4-liter flat-six engine producing 315 hp and paired with a seven-speed PDK dual-clutch gearbox. The only technical modifications are represented by the lowered suspension and the sport exhaust system with black tips.
And speaking of the price earlier, the Boxster S Red 7 costs a massive €119,935. Considering that a premium Boxster S in Netherlands costs €77,800, Porsche might have a bit of a trouble in selling this unique roadsters, as for that amount of money you could easily buy a Nissan GTR and have tons of fun instead of a fancy “Cockster” to drive with the top down and with a smug face.
