‘It’s black, it’s white’ the king of pop used to sing back in the 90s and we’d all start singing along with a muttered ‘yeah, yeah, yeah’ and everyone would get along. Not today though. Today, we’re all concerned about other things, race is no longer an issue.
Today we’re all racing to get more, make more money, become more successful and black and white notions are no longer of concern. They’ve all been replaced with more ‘conventional’ and ‘easier to live with’ grey notions.
There’s no more ‘good’ or ‘bad’, just ‘convenient’ and ‘fair’ and that’s where most of our problems might come from. Few people actually still have principles that guide them through life and even fewer abide them.
It’s not the case with our MINI Cooper S here... Apparently, it doesn’t want to adjust to this grey world of ours and it’s keeping it both black and white at the same time, as if it wants to teach us a lesson.
The car received a beautiful exterior paint scheme that uses only these two colors and that really makes it stand out. The bonnet, headlight trims, fender lips, mirror caps and roof went all black, leaving the rest of the body in the care of the almighty, holy and pure white.
The wheels are probably the most eye catching though, coming from HRE and sitting tight under KW springs. They also became black and measure an impressive 18 inch diameter, despite being fitted on a small car like this hardtop.
