Looks like Mercedes will take good care of some Japanese customers with the special edition G-Class that will be launched on the island this year.
Following the C63 AMG and red and white C63 AMG special editions that have been earlier released in Japan, the Mercedes-Benz G550 Night Edition will be available for YEN13,900,000 ($141,403).
The car will have 10-spoked alloy 18-inch wheels and AMG fenders, while power will be provided by a 5.5-liter V8 coupled to a seven-speed automatic transmission. As ‘Night’ is the main theme, the car will have an Obsidian Black exterior paint finish featured on the rims also. Inside, porcelain white designo or classic red leather upholstery will be the main trim choices.
The automaker plans to showcase the special G-Class on April 22nd at the Mercedes-Benz Connection in Roppongi. It also plans to manufacture only 100 Night Edition units.
