If you're in the market for a special edition factory fresh Dodge Challenger, we have good and bad news for you: orders have been placed for all 100 units of the limited-edition Mopar 2014 Dodge Challenger. The good news for all you "Mopar-or-no-car" fans is that you can go to a Dodge dealer and personalize your standard ride with Mopar parts and accessories in a similar way to the sold out version, or you can just check the classified car ads if that suits you more.
Walking in the footsteps of the Mopar '10 Challenger, Mopar '11 Charger, Mopar '12 300 and Mopar '13 Dart, this limited-edition Mopar '14 Challenger has the sort of enhancements that makes any gearhead tingle with excitement. Unique visual features such as the white paint with blue Mopar stripes on the side, Satin Black deck-lid spoiler and 20 x 8-inch Gloss Black aluminum wheels with Mopar center caps make this Challenger stand out from the crowd. The yummiest exterior design feature is the Shaker hood scoop snorkeling from the engine compartment, complemented by the Black Vapor grille surround. 48 customers chose their cars in Bright White, the rest opting for the Pitch Black exterior paint.

Step inside and you're greeted by premium leather seats with plenty of support and Mopar Blue accents, a serialized plaque on the instrument panel and a Mopar short-throw shifter. Under the hood there's a 5.7-liter HEMI tower of power with 375 horsepower and 410 ft-lb (555 Nm) of torque on tap. 0-60 comes in a hasty 5.3 seconds, the Mopar '14 Challenger keeping on accelerating to a top end of 155 mph (250 km/h).

The aging Dodge Challenger is set for a much-needed facelift later this year. The 2015 Challenger will come with a set of upgraded engines and a new 640+ horsepower 6.2-liter supercharged Hellcat V8 mill that you can hear by clicking here, an eight-speed automatic that will improve economy figures and minor aesthetic changes to fresh things up.
