Sons of Anarchy’s Ron Perlman Drives a Mercedes E350 Cabrio in Normal Life

When he’s not riding a bad boy Harley as Clarence “Clay” Morrow character in FX television series “Sons of Anarchy,” Golden Globe winner Ron Perlman is quite the luxury car type of driver. One of the rides he likes taking to the road the most is his Mercedes E350.

He is best known for his roles as Vincent in the television series “Beauty and the Beast” (for which he won a Golden Globe) or as the comic book character Hellboy in both 2004’s Hellboy and its 2008 sequel “Hellboy II: The Golden Army.” But most of his fans love the way he plays the former President of the Sons of Anarchy Motorcycle Club, Clarence “Clay” Morrow in the FX series.

In the sitcom, the 64-year old actor is something of a vigilante as he does everything in his power to ensure that drug dealers and rapists stay out of his town. However, during the fourth season, Clay involves the club with a number of drug dealings with the cartel for his own protection and greed, wavering in his allegiance, and gradually becomes an antagonist. Good or bad, Clay Morrow usually rides a hard tail Harley Davidson around.

Well, believe it or not, this guy is not really the average biker in real life. In fact, it would seem he’s more of an luxury car fan, considering the E-Class in general is Mercedes-Benz’s mid-sized luxury car, one that competes with the BMW 5-series and the Audi A6.

Being a true luxury car, it doesn’t make any compromises. Performance, fuel efficiency and eccentric features are all high priorities to its designers. For 2014, the German auto maker has made subtle style changes to the coupes and convertibles, with updates most notable in the front air intakes, LED headlights, and grille. Inside, the centre stack has been redesigned, with the gear selector moved from the centre console to the steering column. With a starting price of $60,200, it’s easy to say Perlman knows about his cars.
