If all you think about is cars, the first thing you probably noticed when watching Gorillaz’s Stylo music video was probably the Chevrolet Camaro that shows up with several gunshot holes on the side.
Leaving aside this cosmetic detail, which many believe make the Camaro look even better, the car itself has caught the attention of lots of people, including those playing Gran Turismo Sport.
And what better way to show the love for this Camaro other than actually creating a special livery for the GTS version of the car that any player can drive?
This is how we ended up with several Camaro liveries that more or less accurately reproduce the model in Gorillaz’s music video, and you can download them right now for your Gran Turismo Sport installation.
One of the most recent liveries has been posted on reddit, and despite not having as many gunshot holes as the original, it still looks like a rather accurate gaming version of the Camaro showing up in the music video. However, there are several other version on the GTS website, including this one, again with an impressive attention to detail.
As an interesting tidbit, the Camaro that Gorillaz used for the Stylo music video is a 1969 model that belongs to Jakob Klug from Denmark, and oddly enough, doesn’t have an engine. However, a special powerplant is believed to have been installed for the music video, but no specifics on this were shared.
In the meantime, anyone can try to create such a livery straight from Gran Turismo Sport. Of course, it’s not as easy as it may sound, especially when the goal is an accurate replica of a model that exists in real life. These Camaros, for example, probably took many hours to build, and if you’re not willing to spend that much to design them, you can always download others’ from the Internet.
