Getting hit by an avalanche is definitely not my idea of winter fun, regardless of whether the unlucky chap is on foot or riding a snowmobile.
Still, in some cases, it looks like luck is not running out completely, and seeing a guy making it through the blow is really glorious.
I guess he was also lucky to have been hit from the side, thus being thrown off his sled and not risking being caught under the snow AND the weight of the snowmobile. Wearing a helmet also kind of paid off, as well as not being alone on the slope.
However, it's not everyday when we get to experience first-hand footage of being hit by an avalanche being brought back home and uploaded by the very victim...
