Rarely do fans get to see the famous rapper posing with cars or anything auto related, but when he does, it’s something hilarious. Nevertheless, for a world famous artist who sold over 35 million albums, he sure seems like a man with his feet on the ground.
Take his recently purchased three-wheel toy. The top model price starts at $26,199, which, compared to what rappers regularly spend money on, could pass as cheap. On the other hand, that was the Polaris' main purpose - to create something fresh, fast, powerful, but fun to drive on the street and not overly expensive.

As you may very well know, it has a tilt-adjustable steering wheel, side-by-side bucket seats and does not lean. Three-point seat belts are fitted, but it has no airbags or crumple zones. Meanwhile, driver and passenger regularly must wear motorcycle helmets in certain jurisdictions. In other words, it’s a three-wheeled motorcycle and a little more than that at the same time.

Its weight comes close to that of a tiny city car, with a total of 1,743 pounds (719 kg), while power is produced by a 2.4-liter inline-four engine derived from the GM Ecotec. The 2015 model has a 2384 cc of displacement and sends power through a 5-speed transmission.

No matter how long one would talk about its features, though, there’s one thing that makes everyone interested. The open-top, no-doors architecture with reverse transmission and the 173 horsepower at 6,200 rpm is probably the fastest way for adrenaline junkies to get what they want most.

That doesn’t mean the ABS, electronic stability control, traction control, speed-sensitive power steering, plus the sway bar are not worth mentioning. It’s the ultimate fun ride, especially if you’re a sucker for grown-up toys like these.

Sure, rappers couldn’t settle for the stock model, which is why most of them regularly send it to the nearest garage for the regular upgrade before even thinking of taking it on the road. Snoop Dogg’s Polaris Slingshot makes no exception.
