It is meant to explain how a second of lapse in concentration and attention can have dangerous consequences. The hipster driver in this video takes his eyes away from the road for a very brief amount of time, and fails to notice that the silver Toyota Landcruiser had stopped just ahead of him.
When he does see it, and brakes, it is already too late to avoid the impact, and even if he tries pulling to the left, contact is unavoidable. Thankfully, this was no more than a fender bender, and none of the vehicles involved suffered any real damage as a result of the crash.
But the point is still valid - never lose focus while at the wheel, not even for a second. Even after years and years of safe driving, in which you have not caused or been in any accidents, it is still better to be as attentive and aware as you first were when you first drove a car on public roads.
