Our collective brains simply failed to understand this next set of pictures. Because, just like Pinocchio wants to be a real boy, this smart fortwo dreams of being a Mercedes.
Not just any Mercedes will do though, because what this little impersonator thinks it is looks like the Vodafone McLaren Mercedes Formula One racing car, the one you’d associate with Hamilton or Button. The fortwo even puts on the corporate logos of famous sponsors.

We’d let all this slide were it not for two things: a grille that looks like it’s grinning at us and a huge Mercedes star in the middle. That, my friends, is why this car needs to be killed with fire.

We kid the little smart, of course. The reason for this charade is probably a publicity stunt. It was wrapped by a company called Creative FX in Britain for a company called “Steve Sargent Cars”. Well played mister Steve, well played indeed!

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
