Smart Fortwo Limited Spring Edition

Smart will show up for the 2009 Geneva Auto Show with a special edition of the Smart fortwo range. Although we are not sure if the "smart fortwo edition limited three: Spring into spring with smart" official name and slogan of the release will ever become a catch phrase, the cars themselves might at least catch your eye.

fortwo got a new stance thanks to the 15 inch alloy wheels in six-spoke design fitted with the 175/55 R15 tires at the front and 195/50 R15 rubbers at the rear. The exterior look is rounded off by aluminum-effect "limited three" logos in the mirror triangle.

The interior boasts melon green metallic color scheme continued with exclusive fabric design. The dashboard features dark brown leather-effect details, while the 3-spoke sports steering wheel and gearshift are covered with dark brown leather.

The spring edition is available for both cabriolet and coupe versions and is based on the 'passion" trim level. Softouch automatic gear program, electric windows and air conditioning with automatic temperature control come as standard on the Smart.

"edition limited three" uses start/stop system which helps reduce combined fuel consumption by about 8 percent. It also reduces the CO2 emissions to 104 g/km for the coupé and 106 g/km for the cabrio version. If you are unlucky enough to catch every red light in the city, you can save up to 20 percent in fuel with the help of the start/stop system.

If you need, want or must buy one of the spring Smart Fortwo harvest, get ready to empty your account by 15,470 euros for the coupe and 18,519 euros for the cabrio one.
