smart fortwo Commercial: Time to Say Goodbye to Beeping

Parking in the city can be tricky business, even for the most experienced of drivers out there. But there is a solution to all of this and it’s called parking sensors. Even the biggest SUV can be slotted in the tightest of spaces provided you have the patience to listen to what those annoying beeps have to say.
But smart has something that’s much better, and it’s called a steering wheel. You yourself can be the best park assist system if the car you’re driving is the size of a shoe box. Their latest commercial for the fortwo is not about perpendicular parking (which we love), but about parking sensors, or rather the lack of them.

In this commercial, the beeps from different cars are strung together to make a sound similar to the song “Time to Say Goodbye”, made famous by opera singer Andrea Bocelli. It’s a lovely commercial, but a bit obsessive. After all, parking is only a small part of the car experience.
