Slow Motion Burnout Collection from Texas Shows Tire Punishment Awesomeness

Nobody ever questioned the Texans’ affinity for pulling burnouts and yet these people keep coming up with examples that demonstrate just how committed they are to burning rubber. The latest feat of this kind comes from a recent event dubbed Texas Invitational 2014 and this time we have a bit of a different take.

Instead of sticking to flogging those rear tires, the video production crew from Gearhead Flicks tried their hand at pulling an artistic take on the matter - even after years of racing, many still claim drifting is not a sport, so it’s nice to see these guys trying to put “burnout” and “art” in the same sentence.

They kept an open mind, so US V8 firepower and JDM goodies shared the scene of the event. Looks like any type of muscle is good, as long as it can roast the tires.

To get an idea on how these people roll at such events, we’ll mention the latest feat saw the driver of a Lamborghini Gallardo climb on top of his supercar for the all-important victory pose. The car was no standard Gallardo though, as it had paid a visit to Underground Racing, a custom car specialist who has an obsession for strapping twin turbos to the back of supercars. We’ve attached a photo of the celebration below.

Returning to out burnout event, we have one question for you - has the team managed to turn burning rubber into an artistic manifestation? Check out the clip below and have your say on this matter!
