Slammed Widebody Lamborghini Urus Looks Like It Was Trampled by an Elephant

Lamborghini project cars are enjoying more traction than ever these days. And we are now here to focus on the Urus, with an example of the super-SUV having been given the widebody take in Los Angeles.

Remember the Urus rear bumper delete (ah, another Lamborghini tuning trend) we discussed last month? As explained, that was not an actual stunt, but more of an intermediate stage. Well, the build is now complete (well, almost), so let's get into the details.

The recipe is fairly simple: add a widebody, lower the thing and thrown in some monstrous wheels.

RDBLA is the shop responsible for this and you might know them thanks to multitide of celebrity cars they've worked on.

Now, in this whole journey of talking about Sant'Agata Bolognese machines, I've learned to not pass judgement and while it's readlly difficult to stick to that for this tale, I'll give it a try.

Sure, de gustibus non est disputandum, but what do you do when Lamborghini strives to make an SUV that can tackle both the track an the offroad sections, while tuners demolish that ride height?

Regardless, an 1016 Industries was used for the fat-body effect (no fender-drilling required), while the SUV now packs 24-inch wheels, along with a suspension that brings it much closer to the road - the car is now 160 mm wider at the back, which makes it way wider than an Aventador, among others.

Oh, and the headlights were opened up, all with the aim of axing the orange reflectors that US vehicles need to come with.

As mentioned in the intro, Raging Bull projects are a trend nowadays, with this involving Huracans (here's a "rally car" build and a drift car) and even historic models such as the this Espada hot rod.

Heck, it shouldn't take long until get get to see a build of the kind based on an LM002, so I really hope I can stick to that no-judgement principle...
