It's been a while since the first tuning renderings of the 2020 Chevrolet Corvette showed up, but it looks like the Internet hasn't gotten tired of such pixel play. So, here we are, talking about the freshest one around.
The mid-engined Vette we have here follows two of the most important trends that make Cars and Coffee more colorful these days.

We'll start with the widebody package of the car. Now, many packs of the sort are unfortunately focused on the look, but not this one. Instead, this kit seems to also take aero into account, at least judging by the amount of airflow-directing tricks it involves.

Interestingly, the mid-engined toy hasn't been gifted with one of those super-sized wings that are so popular nowadays.

That's not to say the eye candy has been overlooked, with the exhaust layout, which seems to mix the setup of the C7 (central placement) and the C8 (tip style), being a testament to that.

As for the second trend, this involves the can't-stick-a-smartphone-under-the-car ground clearance. Of course, such as setup involves an air suspension, since this kind of ride height would turn a tiny rock into quite an obstacle.

Of course, the 2020 Corvette has been gifted with custom wheels and the new shoes manage to stand out on their own.

Make no mistake, purists, all of the above will be translated into actual mods once the beast actually hits the street. There will also be gear heads wishing to play the sleeper card - "how in the world could such a machine be labeled as a sleeper?" I hear you asking. Well, adding a pair of turbos to that 6.2-liter V8 and doing nothing to the exterior of the vehicle should have the job covered.

Meanwhile, if you're looking for a C8 Corvette approach that's closer to the real world, perhaps this cutaway walkaround will do the trick.
