Slammed BMW X7 Has Aggressive Widebody Kit, Sits So Low

Slammed BMW X7 rendering 1 photo

When BMW designed the X7, the automotive producer wasn't afraid to push certain styling boundaries, not least via those humongous kidney grilles adorning the nose of the seven-seater. So what if somebody took the design of the SUV one step further for the sake of tuning?
Of course, there are many potential answers to the question above, but the rendering that brought us here provides a pretty interesting one.

I'm having trouble establishing which part of this Bimmer's newfound visual identity is worthier of the "extreme" label.

On one hand, we have the widebody fitted to the car - the X7 is already a fat machine, so those flared fenders seem to have a different effect compared to, say, a sportscar, which is where one would usually find them.

On the other hand, the Bavarian toy rides so close to the asphalt that not even a mouse could fit between the two. Of course, such transformations are usually carried out while using air suspension, which means the driver could actually use the car for more than just posing next to a puddle at a car meet.

I'm not a fan of slammed cars, nor do I fancy bodykits strapped to vehicles whose name include the word "utlity:. Nevertheless, it appears that the aftermarket treatment portrayed here means those grilles don't look that exaggerated anymore. Don't get me wrong, I'm fine with crazy SUVs, but my kind of machine would have to be something along the lines of the BMW X5 Le Mans, which sadly never reached the showroom.

Note that Rostislav Prokop, the digital artist behind this pixel play, went through the trouble of showcasing the modded BMW X7 from multiple angles. So make sure to use the swipe feature of the Instagram post below to enjoy all of them.
