With the reputation of the previous-generation Supra being built on the tuning friendly nature of the car, Toyota has openly spoke about the aftermarket potential of the 2020 Supra (more on this below). And we are now starting to see the effects of this.
For instance, the Mk V Supra that brought us here today has been lowered, while riding on custom wheels. In fact, this seems to be the first example of the Japanese sportscar that has been gifted with the coilover-wheel package, at least in terms of builds that are documented online.

To be more precise, the vehicle now features a KW suspension, while its rims were supplied by Vossen. And you can check out the white machine in the social media posts at the bottom of the page, which come from Titan Motorsports (this is the developer behind the project).

While we're talking about the Mk V Supra, I have to address the vawe of negative comments towards the machine - all you need to do in order to observe these negative opinions is to open a social media platform of your choice and search for the name of the sportscar.

Note that we'll only discuss the Toyota-specific aspects here, with the matters related to the BMW tech side being another story for another time.

For one thing, many complains of the kind have to do with the fake vents found across the body of the machine. Well, as Toyota explained, the carmaker is expecting the Mk V to enjoy at least a part of the Mk IV's tuning popularity, which is why it left plenty of things on the table for aftermarket developers.

So the said faux vents are there for tuners to make them real once extra airflow is required by serious muscle addition.

Then there's the lack of a manual transmission. Well, the Japanese automotive producer explained a stick shift would be offered once the demand would reach a certain level.
