Slammed 2020 Toyota Supra Rendered on Air Suspension, Looks Glued To The Road

The C8 Corvette, whose actual pricing is now official (yes, it kicks of at $59,995 with destination taxesincluded), is a serious threat to the 2020 Toyota Supra. However, since the mid-engined 'Vette won't reach its owners this season and the Supra is already in garages, the American is not a threat for now. Besides, people are so busy modding the hell out of the Mk V Supra that few other things seem to bother them.

This brings us to the Toyota sportscar sitting before us, which looks different to all the Supras we've seen before. That's because this Supra seems to be glued to the road is actually a rendering.

So, what's up with the slammed take? Well, if this Supra was real, it would've been the first of its kind, since the microscopic ground clearance can only involve one pathway: the machine would be fitted with an air suspension, which means the one behind the wheel could change the ground clearance as he or she pleases.

Of course, the aftermarket wheels, with the serious size, their concave profile and their white finish, which matches the main shade of the car, also play an important role here.

Now, keep in mind this isn't the first 2020 Supra sitting lower than the factory intended and I'll point out a real world development now. You see, we've previously talked about an example that featured a KW suspension helping it achieve the said effect.

Of course, the slammed subculture splits opinions like few others, so plenty of aficionados will go searching for the "dislike" button after seeing this toy.

Speaking of which, if you're wondering where the actual Toyota we have here can be found, you should know the pic was taken in Miami, at leas according to the Instagram post showcasing the ride.

As far as the tech side is concerned, the Supra has already been taken to around 500 horsepower, with this allowing the machine to deliver mid-11s quarter-mile runs. And things will obviously get faster by the week.
