Kia has chosen to bring six sports-themed vehicles to the 2011 SEMA Show, and this Basketball-themed Optima is probably the boldest of them all. It’s called the “Slam Dunk” Blake Griffin Optima Hybrid and it was created by West Coast Customs.
"Our involvement in the world of sports has dramatically increased awareness and perception of the Kia brand, and together with some high-profile partners we have created a lineup of fun and eye-catching vehicles with unique backstories and plenty of personality," said Michael Sprague, vice president, marketing & communications of Kia Motors America.

The outside of the car has been given a custom orange paint scheme that looks like the little dimples on a basketball. This is matched to a set of matte black 20-inch alloy wheels and Griffin's personal logo on the bonnet.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
