Even if you have the necessary (huge piles of) moolah, there's a very slim chance you could ever buy a Mercedes-Benz SL 65 AMG 45th Anniversary with zero mileage. Firstly, Mercedes-Benz only made 45 of them. Secondly, they were all sold before the car was even unveiled.
There is still hope for the averages Joes though, as Maisto has just launched a 1:18 scale model of the rarer than platinum special edition of the monster Mercedes roadster.

Painted in what Maisto says it's a similar Designo Magno Graphite matte paint as the real car – which we doubt, by the way - the scale model is not only the cheapest way to own the limited edition model, but also pretty much the only way.

The real-life Mercedes-Benz SL 65 AMG 45th Anniversary sports the same six-liter, twin-turbocharged V12 from the “regular” SL 65 AMG, with no less than 630 hp and an electronically-limited torque of 1000 Nm (737 lb ft).

The horsepower and torque of the Maisto version only depend on how many dumbbell curls your forearms are used to, naturally.
