Skoda Yeti Commercial: Pimp My Ride

Did you think we forgot about Xzibit just because he’s bankrupt? Well, we kind of did, but Skoda didn’t, as they (most likely an advertising agency) picked the rapper/TV presenter to star in their latest commercial.
Interestingly enough, the spot also features DJ Lubel as a nerdy white guy with brown pants and a checkered sweater. This guy know a thing or two about viral music but we can’t say more.

It’s odd that Skoda chose America for its commercials, especially seeing as Skodas aren’t sold in the US. But Xzibit is so universal that this just works.

The commercial for the Yeti crossover turns West Coast Customs into Czech Coast Customs. And a beat up old anonymous pile of junk is swapped for a brand new Yeti.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
