Skoda to Present New Concept in Geneva

As the Geneva Auto Show debut approaches with the speed of light, more and more automotive producers are offering us a preview of the goodies that will be brought to the event. However, some carmakers choose to only throw us a few words about their developments. The latest example of this kind comes from Skoda, which announced that it will introduce a new concept car at the show.

No details were revealed about the concept, with the company only telling us that it will preview its future design language. In addition to that, the concept will be used as a presentation platform for the carmaker’s new logo, which will also make its debut at the event.

Skoda's recent success will act as a springboard for its further growth plans. In addition to its current product portfolio, Skoda will reveal a concept car which reflects the brand's new design language. The car is a nod towards the design language of future products, featuring clearly defined shapes and a new logo which will adorn new Skoda's models from 2012,” stated the press release.

The traditional winged-arrow logo features a new spectrum of colours to look even more distinct and precise than ever before. The new corporate design will be adopted across all Skoda's communications, as well as dealers.

autoevolution will be attending the 2011 Geneva Motor Show, so stay tuned for some real up close and personal shots of the vehicles, as well as for first-hand details of the motorized contraptions presented at the event.
