After only a year on the market, Skoda's affordable Rapid sedan has been enjoying good sales numbers. The Czech carmaker has used this time to determine what its customers want more of, which seems to be more cosmetic kit.
Thus, they've just announced a new special edition Rapid called the StylePLUS. It comes with standard two-tone 17-inch Ray wheels and a sporty interior with new decorative trim.
There's also a lot of added black trim, which covers the rear spoiler on the boot lid, the rear-view mirrors and the bars on the front bumper and side doors.
Skoda has also equipped the special edition with their usual Leather Package, which includes leather steering wheel, gear stick and handbrake.
The Rapid StylePLUS is available in five body colors and six engine versions, 1.2 MPI 70 PS, two 1.2 TSI turbos with 85 PS and 105 PS (with six speed transmission) and 1.4 TSI 122 PS (available with automatic DSG) and two diesels, the 1.6 TDI with 90 PS and 1.6 TDI with 105 PS.
