Skoda Retailer Sells Major Fleet to Cab Company

If you’re the kind of guy who doesn’t believe in miracles, maybe you should think again, as they happen every day. This time, the miracle came in the form of a deal, as Northern Ireland’s biggest Skoda dealer, John Mulholland Motors Ltd, just signed a £2.5million with Value Cabs.

According to the deal, John Mulholland Motors Ltd will supply Northern Ireland’s largest taxi and chauffeur company with 140 Skoda Superb hatchback and estate. As the government’s scrappage scheme is ending this month, the order couldn’t have come at a better time.

“Although 2009 was a record-breaking year for our company, this landmark deal allows us to move into 2010 with extreme optimism in the current climate,”
said John Mulholland, Managing Director of John Mulholland Motors.

John Mulholland Motors and Value Cabs have some some history together, as the Skoda retailer has been supplying cars for the cab company for six years.

“As Belfast’s number one taxi company, the Škoda Superb was the obvious choice - the build quality is renowned and most importantly they are extremely economical and ultra-reliable vehicles,” said Chris McCausland, Managing Director of Value Cabs.

John Mulholland Motors has tradition in supplying vehicles to different businesses like Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service, Translink and Northern Ireland Ambulance Service.

“We aim to provide our business customers with cost-effective, reliable fleet vehicles with great finance offers and, of course, the highest level of customer service.” says John Mulholland.
