Skoda has just announced that the hatchback version of the Rapid called the Spaceback is now available in Britain in three trim levels and with a choice of five engines. Prices start at GBP14,340 on-the-road and go up to GBP18,900.
The engines available include 1.2 TSI with both 105 PS and 86 PS, 1.6 TDI with either 90 PS or 105 PS and the 1.4 TSI with 122 PS. All are available with the GreenTech package that improves efficiency and some can be specified with DSG gearboxes.

The basic Rapid Spaceback S trim level comes with standard steel wheels, DRLs, curtain airbags, alarm, front electric windows, manual air conditioning and a tyre repair kit.

The mid-grade SE also has 15-inch Carme alloys, 6 speakers instead of 4, a 3-spoke leather steering wheel with radio controls, rear parking sensors, body colored mirrors, cruise control, an armrest, rear electric windows and tinted glass.

Top-spec models also have 16-inch alloy wheels, aluminum inserts, automatic climate control, cornering lights, floor mats and Maxi-dot trip computer.

UK sales will start in January 2014. Check out the brochure below to find out more.
