Skoda Rapid Scout Rendered. Should They Build It?

While they are arguably some of the ugliest cars on the road, Skoda's line of Scout models is quite popular and includes the Roomster, Fabia, Fabia Combi and also the old Octavia II.
As you can see, there's nothing in the C-hatch segment, which could be rectified if they decided to make the new Rapid Spaceback into a soft-roader as well.

This rendering from X-Tomi Design shows what a Rapid Scout could look like. It would need to have unpainted plastic protectors all-round, standard roof rails and a different suspension setup.

While it's not built for climbing the Himalayas, combining rugged zest with class-leading cargo space and affordable prices would be a good idea. Yet only Skoda knows if the numbers add up and it's worth making.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
