Skoda Presents New Summer Accessories Collection

It was about time for Skoda to announce its new summer accessories collection, as the holiday season already started. However, as the old saying goes, it’s better late than never, so Skoda owners will be happy to find out what Volkswagen’s subsidiary prepared for them.

The 50 new items come to meet the customers’ summer motoring requirements, including roof racks, carrying equipment (including cycle, surfboard and kayak carriers and roof boxes), portable navigation, in-car entertainment, in-car storage solutions and European travel kits.

“We want our customers’ summer motoring to be a pleasurable experience and our Skoda retailers are in a position to provide them with the right equipment and expertise,” said John Bower, Head of Aftersales at Skoda UK.

“When traveling to Europe, for instance, our customers want the reassurance that their family and their possessions get to their destination problem-free, as well as having the peace of mind that they are complying with local laws and regulations.”

The new accessories range are suitable for each Skoda model, as the carmaker guarantees a perfect fit, extending even to earlier generation Skodas, including Felicia. Each item has been rigorously crash tested to ensure it protects the driver, passengers and other road users.

All accessories come with a minimum two year warranty (or three years if purchased with a new car), and are available online at www.accessories.skoda.co.uk or at local Skoda retailers.

Skoda has also teamed up with the RAC to provide help and advice to customers traveling in mainland Europe this summer. This information includes specific regulations as well as mandatory and recommended equipment required to drive legally in over 40 countries.
