Skoda Introduces New Logo at Its Plants

As you know, Skoda now has a new logo. The company is making efforts to show its new image to the world, with the latest one taking place at its main plant at Mlada Boleslav.

The carmaker exchanged the old logo for the new one across its Mlada Boleslav plant within one day. Subsequently, the company replaced the logos at the plants in Vrchlabi and Kvasiniy.

Our new appearance clearly expresses the new power of our brand,” emphasized Prof. Dr. h.c. Winfried Vahland, the chairman of the board of Skoda Auto. “Skoda is setting out to new horizons. With deliberation and step by step. Our new design and our new fresh appearance give clear expression to that.

The new logo is accompanied by a new corporate design, with both being introduced at the Geneva Auto Show. The new developments are to be used for both internal and external communication.

"In the sense of an “evolution” of proven elements, Skoda has rejuvenated itself and emerges with even more clarity and value – true to the new self-confidence of the brand and consistent with the ambitious growth targets of the company. The most important change: even more than before, the winged arrow is the focus of the logo: it is clearly larger and thus more visible. The green color of the arrow has been changed from the previous “natural green” to a fresher “Skoda Green”. The outside flanks of the wing are refined in a chrome look," explains the press release.
