Skoda Fabia Gets Race Package

Skoda has offered a marketing gift to the Fabia model, as the company had just released a sports package for the Fabia hatchback.Dubbed “Race Package”, the kit comes with a new front bumper, a new lower side for the rear bumper, which integrates a diffuser and an exhaust tip that features a chrome finish.

This changes the Fabia’s appearance, offering the sub-compact vehicle a look that manages to be dynamic without becoming too extreme.

The “racy” Fabia uses a two-tone finish, as its body is dressed in Corrida Red, Blue Storm or Black Magic Pearl while its roof uses a White paint. The hatch also comes with a set of racing decals, which are placed on the car’s side, rear and roof.

The exterior package is complemented by a set of 17 inch alloy rims, that feature a sporty design and a white finish. The vehicle has also been fitted with a sport suspension system that brings it closer to the road, enhancing its look and offering it an improved handling, which allows the driver to tackle the bends with more confidence.

Under the hood of the Race Package Fabia, things are anything but hot, as the kit is offered for the 1.2 liter model, which offers 70 hp and for the 1.2 liter TSI version that comes with 85 hp.

The Race Package Fabia is destined for the German market, with the vehicle’s price starting from EUR15,560 ($19,000), for the 70 hp version and reaching EUR16,810 ($20,500), for the 85 hp model.
