Skater Nyjah Huston Gets Emerald Green Wrap on His Audi R8

Being a skater is not quite what it used to be back in the day, when people would practice it more like a fun sport than actually a professional occupation. Street skateboarder and champion Nyjah Huston is one of the many to prove that. At 19 he already owns several awards and drives an Audi R8. He recently took the ride to the shop for a new wrap.

It’s all about being rich and famous nowadays. Where is the old school passion and careless fun these people used to live their life after? Remember the days when skaters were funny hippies that would spend every day having a great time and learning new tricks? Well, those days are over, folks. Now, it’s all about competition and awards.

Nyjah Imani Huston became the overall champion at the Street League Skateboarding (SLS), two years ago. As of May 19, 2013, Huston has won more prize money than any other skateboarder in history. In 2014, Huston ranked #5 on Fox Weekly’s Top 15 Most Influential Skateboarders of All-Time.

Well, at 19 this fellow has done pretty good. However, it’s not only about fun and long beach days, it's also a lot of hard work. In fact, Huston started skating when he was approximately four years of age.

And with great success comes a great ride, so it’s only natural the skater decided to get a beautiful Audi R8 V10. And it seems he also takes good care of it.

The supercar we're looking at is a V10 prefacelift model, which is basically one of the most affordable exotics you can buy today. According to Huston's post on Instagram, the car recently received a cool refresh, changing from all black to a matte emerald green wrap. Considering the young fellow is also a passionate surfer it’s only normal he’d match the car with the Ocean’s color.
