When it comes to micromobility, the array of options available rank from cheapest to most expensive, basic to premium, simple to fancy, classic bicycles to smart, electric and foldable bikes.
iMiro’s SIVRAC bike is from the latter category: it’s a smart, foldable, electric bicycle with plenty of customization options and features, which promises to be the perfect companion in crowded urban environments. It is also a premium product that will burn a hole through your wallet, but which promises the world in return. Or something along those lines.

SIVRAC is currently crowdfunding on KickStarter, but it still has a long way to go until reaching its proposed goal. Should it be met, it will go into production this fall and be ready for worldwide delivery in March 2020, introducing the world to a premium e-bike like no other.

The e-bike comes with an X-shaped girder that makes it foldable in just a second. Safety tests ensure that it is rigid to sustain a weight of 264lbs / 120kg, and endure the hardships any bicycle may encounter on the road. It has a 6-speed Shimano transmission system, a 250W motor with rear-extraction 9.6Ah 36V battery that takes it to speeds of 32 km/h / 20mph (in the U.S.) and 25 km/h / 15mph (in EU), front and rear twin disc brake system, and onboard Smart Meter that pairs with the iMiro GO app on your phone.

iMiro guarantees 55 km / 34 miles of range on a single charge, with the battery being charged completely in just 3 hours. The battery capacity and charging status can be monitored through Smart Meter, which also allows control over settings like power assist level, light status and speed mode, and displays bike location, smart navigation and riding records.

SIVRAC is available in 2 body colors but comes with interchangeable frame covers, for the trendiest of riders – at a cost, of course.

Speaking of which, for all the goodies it packs and the promises it makes, SIVRAC doesn’t come cheap. This is a premium product and it comes with a price tag to match, but those who pledge to the campaign can get one such e-bike at half the cost: SIVRAC Limited price, starter package at $1,299 or SIVRAC Early Bird Double, 2 x starter package at $2,899.
