SiriusXM Radio Debuts 2013 MotoGP Broadcasts

Frustrated while on the road and missing your MotoGP race? Well, starting with the Indianapolis round, things are about to change, as Dorna Sports and SiriusXM have signed an agreement to mark the debut of US radio broadcasts for the MotoGP series.

SiriusXM will offer turn-by-turn broadcasts of the races for the remainder of the 2013 season, providing listeners in North America with live MotoGP radio experience, expanding the ranks of those who can have real-time access to the evolution of the world premiere motorcycle racing class.

The 9 remaining races of the current season will be aired on Sirius channel 93, XM channel 209, and on channel 966 on the SiriusXM Internet Radio App and online at SiriusXM.com.

Some might argue that listening to a radio broadcast of any MotoGP race is a bit too far from the real excitement of seeing the race with one's own eyes. It may be so, but if you're driving your track through the dry hills of California and your fav MotoGP rider is racing at Phillip Island, we bet you'd like to tune into a Sirius channel and see how is he doing in the Australian Grand Prix rather than swearing you're missing the video broadcast altogether, wouldn't you?
