The Porsche 911 has been with us for almost half a century, with the vehicle being a sweet stubborn machine. The aforementioned adjective refers to the determination to keep the engine at the back and to the exterior design, which has kept its overall lines. You see, this creates confusion, which can lead to wonderful developments. Not sure what we’re on about here? Let us give you an example.

The classic 911 is new. Still not clear enough? OK, we’ll end this word play and tell you that Singer is offering a custom carbon fiber body that hosts contemporary 911 mechanics, with the result being an old-new 911.

So, you get a retro look which is nothing short of bewildering, that hides a 3.8-liter boxer engine that allows the driver to play with 410 hp. God, did we miss those chromed mirrors!

And this is not the end of the story, as the car comes packed with tech goodies that allow its dynamics to match its looks. We are talking about a beefy braking kit that was supplied by Brembo and a high-performance suspension coming from Bilstein.

As for the interior, this brings a special retro racing flavor, coming with a lot of juicy details. Just check out those seats!

As always, all the aforementioned goodies come with a price. You won’t like this (Owners will, however): to make this baby yours, you’ll have to spend close to $200,000. Until you manage to raise the money, you can enjoy the car in the gallery below.
