We had no idea that there was something brewing in Bulgaria, something that would give the world a mad supercar that has the potential of giving cars like Ferraris and Lamborghinis a run for their money.

We're talking about the Sin R1 RS, an upgraded version of the original Sin R1 that was unveiled at the 2013 Goodwood Festival of Speed. Oh, you didn't hear about the R1 in the first place? Fear not, it's not a big deal.

Sin Cars is a German manufacturer that used to have its headquarters in Munich. Somehow, they decided to move to Bulgaria in the meantime and are now working on bringing out the so-called R1 RS, which is expected to make its debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show this September.

The car is built around a tubular space frame chassis and is made with as much carbon fiber as possible so that the weight is kept in check at around 2,535 lbs (1,150 kg). That's an incredibly small figure that comes with plenty of power.

To be more precise, you can choose between three different engines. The least powerful one is a 6.2-liter LS3 V8 good for 430 HP followed by a 7-liter LS7 V8 making 530 HP and a supercharged 6.2-liter LS9 good for 650 HP.

We don't need to tell you which one we'd get, right? Instead, we'll mention that the transmission to the rear wheels will be done through a sequential gearbox or a manual six-speed, depending on your preference.

Accelerating from 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h) would take around 3.5 seconds and a top speed of 186 mph (300 km/h) is more than possible. Until we get to see it, this looks like quite an enticing ride.
