The debut of MagSafe on the iPhone 12 was one of the highlights of Apple’s hardware event in the fall. The Cupertino-based tech giant is now betting big on this technology to become more widely adopted in its ecosystem.
With MagSafe, the company unlocked a whole new category of devices, allowing them to magnetically attach to the back of the iPhone for an instant connection.

And of course, Apple too joined the MagSafe hardware party with its very own iPhone charger, and this one can be purchased today from the Apple Store if you want to benefit from this tech.

In the meantime, however, other companies are also working on supporting MagSafe, and Scosche is one of them. The firm joined this month’s CES event with a phone holder specifically built for cars and MagSafe chargers.

In other words, if you want to use an Apple MagSafe charger behind the wheel and are looking into a compatible phone holder for the device, the MagicMount MSC & Extendo are definitely worth a look.

20W USB-C power delivery is offered, and so are multiple mounting methods, including a cup holder to fit any car interior perfectly. The company says given the wide range of options, it can also be used elsewhere, such as at the office.

Designed to work with Apple MagSafe chargers for the iPhone 12 series, these mounts securely hold and power the MagSafe. It comes with a new 20W USB-C Power Delivery Car Charger to power a MagSafe Charger. These mounts are available in several options including: Window/Dash, Cup Holder, and a 4-in-1 kit that features: Swing-Arm Dash and Vent, and Lock-Nut Vent and Dash. Not limited to in-vehicle use, the Window/Dash model is perfect for home or office use when used with a home charger like the Scosche ReVolt QC,” the company explains.

The debut of the new phone holders is projected to happen in the spring, with pricing info to be shared closer to the release date.
